Mapua University signs MOA with Honeywell UOP
Mapúa University’s President Dr. Reynaldo B. Vea signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Honeywell UOP’s Director of R&D Dr. Medhat Tannous, with Dr. Santi Kulprathipanja the Director for Southeast Asia R&D at Bayleaf Intramuros last October 25, 2017.
Along with the MOA signing is the awarding of scholarship grant by Honewell UOP. The grant is said to be one of the three-part program by Honeywell UOP for the fostering of quality education for chemical engineering students around the world; with Mapúa being the first Philippine University to benefit on the partnership.
Three Chemical Engineering students: John Aldus Dado ChE-4, Roque Jedidiah Floyd Roque ChE-4, and Jaypee Solee ChE-3 were the recipients of the said scholarship grant. Furthermore, one of the scholars will be chosen to undergo the third part of the program, which is the internship at Honeywell UOP’s headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.
