MAPUA UNIVERSITY GRADUATE STUDENT AND CBMES FACULTY IN ISCES 2018 IN SHANGHAI, CHINA
Adonis P. Adornado, a CBMES faculty and MSChE candidate, received a grant from United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) to attend the 2018 International Student Conference on Environment and Sustainability (ISCES) on June 2 - 7, 2018 as part of World Environment Day Celebration. UNEP, Tongji University, Beijing Environment Foundation for Young Talents, and Xinhua News Agency co-organized the event.
During the event's culmination program, Adonis P. Adornado (third from left in the picture) received "Excellence Award for Best Presentation - Natural Science Category" for the paper, "Life cycle assessment of PET-Al composite recycle process." The study was done in Mapua University; co-authors were Aileen D. Nieva (CBMES faculty), and CHE students Aika I. Tolentino, Ed-Jefferson E. Yamat, John Louis F. Salom, Christine Aira R. Hayag, Ruth Angela M. Lafuente, Johaina Marie R. Trinidad.
