The School of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry is aware of the sad reality that many of our fellow Filipinos at present are impoverished and depressed

Thus, the school, in connection with its efforts to become a more service-oriented institution, has conducted community extension programs, in which volunteers conduct technical seminar-workshops, which are in line with their field of specialties, for an adopted community for the purpose of giving the people possible sources of livelihood. Each committee team, which will be sent to the community is composed of volunteer faculty members, students and non-teaching personnel.
